Yep....NEVER let top talent leave the state. #Bo dropped the rock on phillips. At least that hasn't happened with coach riley...oh wait....noah fant. #failure

You can't fault the kid...unfortunately a Stanford degree opens a lot more doors than a UNL degree. Not trying to be disrespectful of NU...it's just a fact.

And the difference is..... Nothing.

Both would be (phillips) or will be multi-ys starters at a position NEB has struggled to recruit and retain talent with depth
Differences are;

Phillips was slow played by Bo and it backfired. Fant was not slow played by Riley. Phillips was recruited for the same position at both Stanford and Nebraska. Fant was recruited as a TE (which is what he wants to play) by Iowa and recruited as a DE (which is what he DOESN'T want to play) by Nebraska.
