I wouldn't think doing it in Winston would mean too much, Ingram announced in Kinston. That said, I'm always a little nervous until they say yes.

Gary very definitively stated that he wouldn't be surprised if Giles picked Duke, but he wouldn't be surprised if he picked Wake, and he also wouldn't be surprised if he picked UNC, nor would he be surprised if he picked any of the other 300+ D1 programs in America. It was a bold prediction.

I've always said I think he's Duke bound, and I still do.

I think it's 97% Duke and 3% UK. Why 3%? Because I'm bias

I would feel better if Fox was announcing on the same day being they were together at BBM.

If he wants to win, he goes to Duke/UK. He wants to be the centerpiece of a 20-12, 19-13 team that is fringe NCAA tourney, he can go to Wake. It's that simple.

The only think that gives this me a glimmer of hope for my boys to get Giles is that he just started following DeAaron Fox and Isaac Humphries on Twitter. There have been a few kids do that right before an announcement lately before committing to that school.

Don't get me wrong, it PROBABLY means doodley-frickin-squat, but it gives me just enough hope to send me to a deep depression when he picks Duke.

That's trying to read the tea leaves a bit too much. Giles has been steadfast that he would make a decision sometime in November. Besides, I'm hearing the date that was thrown out isn't set in stone. Expect an announcement on ESPN (when it works for them) sometime during the early signing period --- November 11-18.

And no, Show....Bolden isn't out of the picture.

It has zero to do with anything honestly. Half our guys follow some of the UNC players. It's the nature of social media and the generation.

Exactly. He spent a weekend with fox, if I were a recruit and took my official with a guy and we became friends I'd follow him too. This has 0 barring on his decision

I would also agree that this should mean very little. I read on the UNC site that the Lauri guy from Finland followed some UNC players after his visit and he picked Arizona as soon as he landed.

All in all, I don't think it means that much in the end.
