Has Cobb being out been a blessing in disguise?

The kid was playing his heart out and clearly not performing at the level most expected...his injury has also opened the door for additional minutes for Lindsay and Law thus fast forwarding their progress somewhat. The valuable PT the frosh have gained since Cobb's injury should bode well for next year. That all being said, I'm really hoping to see Cobb take the floor on senior night so he can get the ovation he so richly deserves. He'll always be one of my favorites.

Not at all.

Cobb of last season (prior to his injury) would have been the diff. in a no. of those losses (OCC and in the B1G) - so this team would be headed for the NIT and possibly be a bubble team instead of desperately trying to make it to the postseason.

And while game experience helps, frosh can improve in practice and sitting and watching how the vets play.
