Has Nance made it official that he's leaving?

I think he’s gone, however in the official post game press conference with Collins, He said that he has not decided on his plans yet, kind of contradicting the other interview

You can be done with college basketball and not be decided on your plans.

E.g., will he be drafted? Or would he rather pursue the G League, European, or Australian basketball careers if not?

He could also put his degree to use, get a normal job, and then come complain on the internet like the rest of us.

I want Pete Nance to leave!

No, seriously. He worked his tail off for four years for my enjoyment. His compensation was attractive…a scholarship to an outstanding university, exposure on TV and personal growth. His compensation was also far less than his economic value.

I want Pete Nance to do what is in his best interest. Maybe that is the Euro leagues. Maybe it is the G-League. Maybe it is the NBA. Maybe it is a further degree. Maybe it is learning at the feet of the protégés of Pat Ryan. I don’t know.

I just know that Pete Nance (and Ryan Greer) gave me four years of effort and enjoyment. Thank you.

Fly the coop and be successful in whatever is next.

Agree with this. I like Pete, he seems like a good kid. Of all of the options above, I wouldn't add "wallow in the morass that is CCC's basketball program".

Thank God! Time to start over.
This past season wrecked most of whatever enthusiasm existed for NU basketball.
For me it was mainly about the frontcourt.
I don't blame Pete Nance for being forced to play center when he is a good power forward.
If you were to tell me that Nance is coming back and we'll be playing Young and Nicholson at the 5, then I would be very enthused.
If you told me "Pete's coming back and he'll be playing center again" I'd tell Pete Nance he's making a huge mistake.
The house-cleaning that needs to occur is not among the players.

Agree, except Nance is not a true “power” forward. He’s a 6‘10“perimeter player and three-point shooter. Also, not a particularly strong rebounder for a man of his size. Time to cut bait from Nance.

Cut bait? Nice term for the guy who clearly was our best player.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. if his name was Larry Schwartz we wouldn't be having this conversation. He'd be just another 6'10" guy that developed into a good player
Something tells me that if his name was Larry Schwartz, he'd be getting an extreme amount of hype.

Turns out there has never been a college basketball player named Larry Schwartz - forget about the talented 6'10" version.
