Someone help me understand this kids thought process in transferring to Arkansas. We are bringing in a dynamic head coach and a very good OC. Yet he somehow thinks transferring to Arkansas is a good idea? I don't get it

Yeah .... I don't get the logic of transferring to Arkansas either.

They're not a winning team.

Does he just want to stay home on new years day rather than play in a bowl game?

Oklahoma can compete for their conference championship next year .... Arkansas won't.

Arkansas loves poaching players from Ok and OU, at least their fans do. Gives them something to pound their chests about I guess.
I don't get the move either. You would think players would wait and see who the HC would be.

I imagine he feels he has the potential to “star” there and not just be one of many like he was at OU…

Sad really…

A much bigger puzzle is why LB Kobie McKenzie de-committed and pledged to Texas, a program in complete disarray. OU recruited McKenzie for several years and now he flips.

I guess he thought OU would not throw the ball next year, OU maybe doing the Army thing. Kids need to commit to a school.

Exactly! This is what is so puzzling. His dad was a posting member on the Crimson Corner also. Brent Venables is an indication of the trajectory this defense will go. I hear Venables is targeting DC from Troy.

If Arkansas wins the bowl game then they were just a failed 2-point conversion away from winning 10 games this year. Pittman has done a really good job. They're literally playing in a new year's day bowl game this year lol.

KJ Jefferson should be one of the SEC's best returning QBs next year and Treylon Burks leaving will be a lot of production available at WR.

Congrats on almost doing something that OU has done 18 out of the last 22 Seasons.

I think we can get a more qualified DC, but bring Hall on board as the safeties coach. He's familiar with Okla., and has done a very good job wherever he has gone.

So are we positive Vinny won't be calling and coordinating the defense?
