It's an HBO movie, it's finished, it's got a great cast -- including Michael Keaton as Batman -- but WB CEO David Zaslav is shifting the DCEU's focus to theatrical movies, so WB's decided to cut its losses and shelve the film indefinitely to recoup some of its costs in tax breaks.

That's really unusual. I can't think of many movies that were completed then shelved -- offhand, just Roger Corman's Fantastic Four and Jerry Lewis's The Day the Clown Cried. And those cost relatively nothing to make.

I wonder what WB will end up doing with The Flash.

Tells you how truly awful this must've been that they are too embarrassed to release it and let it make whatever money it could.

Let's be honest: there was zero market for this movie and it was only greenlit for one reason.

Yeah, but in most cases WB doesn't exactly know how to do these things well. At this point we've probably got a fairly decent chance of seeing nipples on Alfred's butler suit than a topless Batgirl.

Their are spending 45 million to do reshoots of AMII. Deleting Amber Heard. As an added bonus Batgirl appears at the end of the Flashpoint movie, so that's another snag for DCU. It's almost as if character matters. For those who haven't heard Flashpoint is on hold because of Ezra Miller assaulting fans, and grooming a 12 year old girl. The cross dressing and drug use were perfectly reasonable behaviors. Disney StarWars, Buzz Lightyear, gay Superman, etc... it's almost as if even Hollyweird has hemorrhaged enough money to get their attention. Nahhh... just kidding.

They leave out the part where she decides to become a superhero because she asked a teacher to tell her something she couldn't do.... The teacher told her she couldn't be a superhero.... LOL.

If Hollywood wants to keep going ultra woke, they can prepare to go broke to the tune of $70-$90 million in this case. The movie was said to be so bad that it endangered the whole comic franchise. It won't even go direct to streaming.

Watched Lightyear this morning. Buzz's original partner was a complete *****. Cheating on her partner like that. She had to have because that's the only way you get a grand daughter.
