Today is NU basketball media day. Head coach Chris Collins will hold his press conference after the customary football press conference at noon at Nicolet in Evanston.

The bball season literally cannot get here fast enough. Got my Chicago trip planned and am able to catch two games!

My only problem is tapering my expectations. It's so hard not to expect incredible success after last year's breakthrough, but things don't always go as planned (as any NU fan knows).

Yeah probably will go to a game in February. Last year went and the temperature was 70 and the cats pulled out the Home win against Rutgers

This is so true. We have a great returning 4 and potentially great new contributors. But the air gets a little thiner at the top and the facility disruption could come with some significant fatigue. It may be like road games and neutral court games all year for the guys. If they win one more game this year than last year, I'll be pretty satisfied.
