That an entity at UK will get some big news today.

Has to be about the football team right? Any guesses? My guess is hes talking about the transfer from MSU.

Don't know if I'd call a transfer who has no other offers "big news."

I could be wrong but I don't think he was talking about football.
You could be right, but he said it literally right after some UK football comments. Thats why I think its for football. We will see though.

He said a entity in Kentucky not doing well. I'm guessing something with coal mines or eastern Ky jobs is the way I took it jmo.

Say what you want about Matt personally, but there has never been a better outlet for covering UK football than KSR. People want to say "oh well he likes Basketball more" but what do you want him to cover, a football team that has not been to a bowl game in 5 years or arguably the top basketball team in the nation?

KSR has a pre and post game for football and a podcast each week breaking down the games. There are summaries on the site about practice reports and coach's press conferences every single day they happen.

It is also a fan driven industry. What is going to attract more listeners/readers, "UK loses another game in awful fashion" of "UK is ranked in the top 3 and adding in the #1 recruiting class in a period where UK has made the Final Four 4 out of the last 6 seasons?"

I'm pretty sure he meant the University of Kentucky. I was thinking football since he was talking football but I can't see what would be considered good news. Maybe Barhardt found a fax that Stoops' buyout isn't 12 million.

In all seriousness, like others said, it's football or woman's basketball.

@kyrivals I know you're pretty close to the program, do you know of what it could be? Assuming its football related.

Here is a KSR post from earlier this week. Choosing to post this without any reason didn't feel like the best outlet covering UK football:

"Boom Williams’ dad is on the front page of ESPN.com this afternoon and it’s not because he’s awesome. No, it’s because America is still laughing at the Kentucky football team for its weekend-worst, possibly season-worst, game last Saturday.

Boom Sr. is the cover boy for the SEC’s disappointment in Week 1; however, the articledoes not mention Kentucky because Kentucky doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of college football.

So to sum it up, UK was bad enough to be the cover photo but too bad to waste a breath talking about in the article.

Go Cats."

Actually, he said "good news, not huge, but good". . This was for a program that needed some good news right now.
I was guessing the Women's BB program.

Yeah if he meant football I'm guessing he wouldn't have hinted more directly at it. Sounds like the baseball team or the ladies softball team is getting a new player IMO.

My random prediction?

Mac Jones flips back to Kentucky. Hinshaw is going to visit him today, he flips then shows up at tomorrow's game in Gainesville.
