That was a really entertaining game. Louisville is definitely one of those teams that could make a run.

Also, speaking of entertaining, the next game is Baylor's funky zone versus shaka's press.

We are not having as of right now a season to shout about but I gotta be honest. It gives me as just about as much satisfaction to see UNC lose as Duke win. Not quite as much but it's sweet. I'm a Duke fan. I can't help it' It's my nature. OFC

They are going to take a few more lumps before it is over. They were 8-0, but the only game they had played against any of the current top 7 in the conference was a home game against Clemson. Things are going to start getting harder for them schedule-wise.

They didn't get treated too chummy at the YUM center. I like the tarheel poster that bet against the heels and won money (no it was not Gary-7). He says they are soft and says they will get beat by the Irish this weekend

I thought earlier in the year the Heels were really rounding into form, but I was wrong. This is the same team as the last couple years, pretty good, but they can be pushed around. One thing I'm worried about is how fast Berry is progressing. If Paige wasn't around, I think people are talking about Berry as first team all-ACC.

Berry has improved immensely, Paige was better as a soph, wonder if he returns to form.

if the Heels plan on winning anything this year they gotta figure out how to shoot. Paige and Berry were rough last night

Poor Heels must suck to constantly get hosed by the refs

That's a great word for it. "Hosed." I know they are getting tired of it game after game after game. They are even getting screwed by the refs when they win. What a tribute to their program and HOF Coach Roy Williams for how successful they are through this handicap. ;) OFC

I've been impressed with Berry too. He still disappears quite a bit, though.

I'm not sure what the deal is with Paige. Sometimes it's a confidence thing. That may be all it is....who knows. But right now he is nowhere near the player he was two years ago.

They won, I think 12 straight before losing on the road in a tough environment coming off a loss. Hardly making excuses for them, but they're a really solid team this year which is still completely wide open. The things they lack are consistent outside shooting and toughness, as has been noted- not sure how to "fix" either of them, but they do have the ability to get hot, especially if Paige turns it back around.

As for Berry, I always thought and said he was a legit player. He had a rough night last night, but he's a very solid playmaker and can get into the lane very easily.

UNC will most likely be there till the end, but they're no powerhouse like the great teams of last year. They're one of about 10-15 teams that could probably cut down the nets, maybe even more than that.

I agree that they could be around til the end. We can say the same about many other teams this year. However, it's a helluva lot of fun watching them lose. Like Sky said, I get almost as much satisfaction out of them losing as I do Duke winning.......almost.

You can bet on one thing, Paige will find his range against Duke! Not sure what is happening in his situation, but he is too good to go the rest of the year in a shooting slump. To me, without a doubt, he is the key to how far the Tarholes will advance in the tourney this year.
There are quite a few teams that could cut down the nets this year (more parity than ever), and if Paige gets untracked, they will be right there in the end.
I also was hoping both teams could find a way to lose last night, and was really sad to see the Holes go down !!!
Go Duke!!

Bump and we can also add back to back losses for Kent. I almost enjoy watching Cals expressions during a loss as much as a hole loss. Hell of a Mon and Tues night. Go Duke. OFC
