No offense SS but, Herbie is like the pretty girl, who, already having a date for the prom will summarily dump the guy the day before the prom to go with a guy that has a cooler car.

He talked us up SO much I'm sure he was a bit pissy when we didn't live up to his expectations.

It's all good though.
You're right though, and that is if we are still undefeated when we start league play this fall, he'll be fawning all over us again.

He can like us all he wants during the regular season. After that, it's the kiss of death.

Can't say that I blame him, but at the same time, he was one of those propping up the Sooners the last half of the season. I'm sure he's disappointed that OU did not beat Clemson, as he predicted, but some folks got a little too excited about the turnaround from an 8-5 season in 2014 and the embarassment of 40-6 at the hands of Clemson. Yeah, OU made a nice recovery in 2015, but to put OU as the favorite vs. the team that had been #1 all season long was just ridiculous. Herbie drank the Kool-Aid.

No reason to get all *** hurt when Herbstreit (or anyone for that matter), doesn't fall over themselves to sunshine pump OU 24/7/365. One thing about Herbstreit, is over the years he has been one of the biggest Bob Stoops supporters in all of media. Just because he doesn't have OU in his early Top 5 doesn't mean he is all pissy.

I agree with Schoonerman. I don't blame Herbstreit for not having OU in the Top 5. He saw what we all saw....an OU team make a great run through the Big XII, then got completely outmatched by a Clemson team. Shows OU still has alot of work to do. Appreciate 2015 for what it was....a great season to get going in the right direction.

This is great news for OU... Let's hope the SEC gets all the hype in pre season because we all know they have 1 really good team and that's it.
