— Rutgers has not had a 3,000-yard passer since Mike Teel threw for a program-record 3,314 yards in the 2008 season. It was one of three 3,000-yard season in program history, which all occurred within a five-year span: Ryan Hart (2004), then Mike Teel in back-to-back years (2007-08).
— Rutgers has not had a quarterback throw at least 20 touchdowns in a season since Nova in 2014 (22). Kaliakmanis has come the closest since, throwing for 18 last season, which put him in a tie with Nova (2013), Hart (2005) and Mike McMahon (2000) for fifth-most in a single season.

The amazing thing about that is that Ryan Hart had to do that with a patchwork offensive line. Hell, they pulled Ray Pilch, a converted fullback, to be the center.

Who did McMahon have on the OL? By 2000 Sean O'Hara had graduated. He was running for his life.
