Whatcha think here? A dynamic guy who isn't afraid of being the face, and understands Penn State better than anyone. This also kicks Jay into the outhouse where he belongs.

I like this idea. Then we can hire 5 assistants to help him. Im fine with raising my daughter’s tuition over this. Let’s spend more money!!! 💰 😡

Wasn't Franklin the "clean break" you and your ilk desired?
And Franklin was my #2 choice at the time and did a great job rebuilding the program. He simply wasn't able to take the next step. Doesn't mean it was a bad or unsuccessful hire. He just reached his ceiling.

Not sure what you thought this question was proving.

If the next coach is here as long as Franklin we hired the right guy.

If the program is run inside the box than I like the idea of keeping Lavar outside the box.

Does Penn State currently have a GM? I know that other programs do.

JMO here, but you hire an actual experienced GM who really understands the business part of running a sports franchise as that is what it is. One that understands the finances involved in paying players and the sport itself. They need to nnow which positions to invest in the most and keep a roster solid. Not a knock on LA, but this job may be above his pay grade.

A ton of the value of the GM is creating a position outside the locker room to help handle the NIL money. I think it could give the coach a bit of cover when players are unhappy with NIL spending.

Just bring in Meyer for 5-7 years and let him keep he who wants on the staff now. Get it done Kraft.

What would it take to get Meyer?
- $20m, $30m a year?
- Full control and direct report to the president?
- Freedom to recruit anyone regardless of concerns?
- $15m budget for assists?

Who cares just go get him, do you want to win or not. If your going on all in you might as well go all the way in.
