It appears a message is being sent to Michiah Quick. He is third at his position, behind Jarvis Baxter and Grant Bothun. So Baxter is starting, while guys we've been hearing a lot about are not. Dahu Green, A.D. Miller, Jeffrey Mead, Dallis Todd and especially Mark Andrews.
We also have a couple of guys listed as H-Backs, most notably Dimitri Flowers as HBack starter. So that position hasn't gone away. My guess is a lot of short yardage and goal line stuff.
Drew Samia is getting some raves, second team tackle as a true freshman. Daniel Brooks is the number three running back, but Stoops said in the presser that Anderson will play as a true freshman.
The starting ILB's are Alexander and J Evans. The backups are Frank Shannon and T Evans.
I think were are more likely to see a lot more four man lines and a lot less three man lines, with Striker/Bond being a true end some and an outside linebacker with the same personnel some.
And I suspect most of us have heard that Seibert won both from scrimmage kicking jobs. He'll be the punter and PK guy. Ever heard of Wesley Horky? He will be the punt snapper. Conner knight will still do the XP's.
And some have asked. The number two quarterback is the former Sugar Bowl MVP.
Noticeably absent from the wide receiver three deep: John Humphrey, a true freshmen who graduated at midterm to play spring ball. I think he's having trouble living up to my number one qualification for a receiver: CTDFB
