I don't know all the details but I do know this is the date to restart Kentucky.
Let's do this right.
I am going to do my Best to insure your safety.
Will you do mine?
Answer: yes or no.

Yes, but, go with caution. You think this, right?

Lexington has had 368 cases, of which a third are from the Fed Med Center. Lex (public residents) has had single digit cases each day for approx 2 weeks. These are numbers which we should be jumping for joy over, and allowing our economic needs to move forward, instead of Mayor Gorton adopting the Andy lockdown stance.

What did you do to help this stuff? Stop moaning. Take your lead.

Help? I have been in my office each day since this started, as the company I work for makes medical devices as one of its lines. I order out from local places approx 4 days a week. Is this what you are referring to? Or do I count my calls w/ Barr and Gorton as well? Not sure what you are referring to in the "take your lead" comment.

What I wished to hear: someone I hadn't heard before.

What works for New York doesn't work for Kentucky, and vice versa. As Cole said above, if you remove the LTC cases, and look at Lexington's numbers, its a complete joke we are still where we are at this point You would never do what we've done for numbers as miniscule as those.

Now are they small because of the preventative measuree? Is it because its all been an overreaction and wasnt necessary? At this point its fruitless to debate it, because we are where we are and thats all that matters. The point is the numbers for weeks here in Lex have shown we are fine and its time to get back to normal instead of hampering people's businesses and paying people more to sit on their *** than they would otherwise be earning if they were actually working.

If this thing morphs into the Bubonic Plague 2.0 then maybe its time for real draconian measures. Until then, this will go down, at least for our state, a total clown show of an overreaction and a textbook example of media fear mongering and why so many of us do not trust them.

I predict the Ky opening will be short lived. There will be a spike and Andy will close us down again.

The only way we'll get a spike is if they rapidly expand testing, which Comrade Andy has sat on his *** for 3 months on, so I dont know why anyone would expect him to start suddenly doing what he said he was going to and hasnt thus far. Hes too busy criticizing Tennessee for closing late and reopening early while their testing runs circles around ours.

My office officially reopened today, but those of us who can work remotely are allowed to keep remote until further notice. They’ll have to drag me back in there.

Hmmm put on real pants, commute an hour each way to sit a room full of cubicles occupied by people I like to varying degrees OR work in my PJs and commute 12 feet to another room and play video games on my lunch. Choices.

I’ve been supporting local restaurants and tipping big. I’ve been wearing a mask. Doing all the good citizen **** we’re supposed to do because it’s not hard and I don’t feel like my rights are being trampled. I’ve just been inconvenienced.

Reopening can be done right if we’re patient, but I’ve shopped at enough Walmarts to know the general public will make all the wrong decisions and do the dumbest **** possible.

I’m in no big hurry to sit in a restaurant or concert or ballgame any time soon, which was the norm for me anyway. I’ll let the social butterflies have their first crack at the ‘Rona. Introverts are unphased.

If this reopen rolls out as planned I’m less than a month from having to start lying when I cancel/decline social plans again. Lol

Please elaborate on your patient guideline....where is your line in the sand and just how many people have to be in the soup line before you give the green light?

If you find displeasure in how our governor is handling this, there is a another governor election coming up in time. (This comment assumes you are alive then)
Until then, Gov Beshear is the state leader.
