Not trying to be cute … I’ve noticed that Travis Perry may box out better than everyone on the team. He is fundamentally sound in most phases of the game, although he lacks height and footspeed.
That is one thing that I’m shocked is happening under Pope this far into the season.
Just because you’re tall doesn’t mean you’re immune to fundamentally block outs, get low and get your butt in someone. We play man almost all the time, and man up to not give up 40+ in a half.
We boxed out early in the season. But have let it slide.
