Vandy has lost 3 in a row, including today to MSU. They are not that good, clearly overrated with a fairly weak OOC slate, but they will be DESPERATE on Tuesday so we better show up to start. Do NOT give them hope.
The score is 15-0 before tipoff. That place is a trap. If you've ever been there you know what I'm talking about. FCC.

It won't matter though, our freshmen have hit the wall. Two dreadful games in a row. My God, we were awful today. Mississippi State is the worst SEC team I've seen in 20 years and we just managed to lose to them.....

That said, we have some players and hopefully they hit the reset button and get a fairly officiated game in Rupp this Tuesday. If so, we'll be in the game.
If the refs swallow their whistles and allow a football game, we'll lose by 50.

Vandy has a very goofy looking guy wearing a mask, who I believe is their best player. Maybe he can break his nose again and that will give him the power to hit 15 three's on his own?
Then it might go down to the wire.
1) We would have to play well to be in the game, but when we've been allowed to run our offense (calling hand checks, body, etc..), we get good looks and we have good shooters.
2) We have Damian Jones. Jones is raw still, but when he plays well, he shows flashes of the NBA player he will become (likely). He will throw a few down that will leave you impressed.
3) Kornet, and Fisher Davis have to make shots.
4) Baldwin and Mitchell have to take care of the ball. Both are good distributors and both are prone to make freshmen mistakes.
We have talent on this team, but they have played like they are young too much so far. I don't expect a good game, but as I mentioned, we are capable and would be surprised if we make a game of it.
I look for another beat down like we game Missouri maybe worse. Look for our bigs to have a great game.

Hey runt, thanks for being a good sport. My brother has lived down there for about 30 years and he says the same thing. He's got me some pretty good tickets a couple of times. FCC.
