This has the feel of a Chubba situation
We shall not speak of it. Also chubba was scared of the QB room. We have no one to be afraid of on the DL right now. That may change as the season progresses. But this guy is counting on early playing time based on his comments. And that is something we can deliver.

You cannot be “scared” to recruit at any position. If a kid that you think highly of wants to commit then you take the commitment. Pretty simple. And if he ends up elsewhere then so be it - you go get someone else. It’s called live and learn and we do it everyday especially at the level of P5 we find ourselves.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

Yup Chubba wanted none of Cunningham in a QB competition.

Sounds like live and NOT learn.

That’s not what everyone was saying here when he committed. He was going to come in day 1 and compete and be great was all I heard.

Then he decides to go to FSU and we didn’t need him anyways and he was scared.
Yeah because when he committed our QB situation was mediocre at best. Nobody knew Micale was going to be this good and he still has 2 full years left so the earliest Purdy was touching the field here barring injury was as a junior. He clearly wanted to play early and that wasn’t going to happen here with how well Micale played.

Don’t sleep on Tee Webb.

I’m not sleeping on him at all just saying any QB coming in this season or next won’t be seeing the field. We have an elite QB now. I think Tee could fit great in this system. Accurate guy and doesn’t turn the ball over.
