Maybe Nick Saban would like to get away from being head coach and want to take the job.
C'mon now....It's becoming more evident that Stoops held DC title @ FSU, but clearly Fisher had some role in that defense! You can't tell me that if he was such a great DC he would know that you can't run a 3/4 scheme with UK talent! Remember Rick Minter tried to switch to 3/4 in Jokers tenure and had the same result!
Promote Matt House to DC....He has experience. Can't be any worse than the trainwreck we're fielding now! Replace OL and DL coaches as well and stick to 4/3 4/2/5 D! And play the 2's more often. Oh yeah and a DB coach! Since Stoops took over DB's we've seen blown coverage after blown coverage! Further confirming my suspicion that Jimbo Fisher played a bigger role on Defense @ FSU than anybody knew!

Agree 100%. I can't see any additions or changes in this staff for a few years. Stoops is here and with buyouts for some of the assistants we can't let them go either.

Jimbo has always been an ooffensive coordinator I doubt he had a ton to do with the defense are FSU

It's hard to tell if it's a coordinator issue. For example, Shannon Dawson suddenly looked good as an offensive coordinator the first game after he left UK.
As disorganized as the team has looked, I'm not sure even hiring someone with the status of Monte Kiffin could change results.

Interesting fact about the LSU DC Dave Aranda. He and Coach Gran are both Cal Lu guys.

The only feasible way to get this guy is if we are going to hire him as the head coach. Otherwise, why would he leave LSU to come here?

Have you seen improvement since DJ and Stoops implemented the 3/4? Have you seen improvement since Stoops took over DB's? Tells me that Stoops can't coach DB's and you can't run 3/4 unless you have elite pass rushers! So it would stand to reason that any DC with half a brain could at least put a band aid on this Jackwagon.....
I predict stoops will fire Elliott near or at seasons end, then he will officially take over DC duties in 2017 in a final attempt to put lipstick on this pig

I say cheat them through their studies so they have more time to study film, schemes, etc. A quality education is getting in the way of our football team! Going forward, these "Coaches" should evaluate whether or not these kids can read and write and have a pulse before they recruit them! The keyword being Coaches!

What I'm saying is: CHEAT!! Everybody else is! That's the only way you're going to have a winner in the SEC! Just look at Alabama.... they have the best players money can buy!
