This sport has had very little parity when it comes to winning it all. It has tons of it getting to the final four.

Of the last 33 tournaments, Duke, UNC, UConn, and Kansas have won 20 of them. That’s pretty crazy. The 2019 and 2021 seasons were the only times someone new won the title since the Florida teams 19 years ago.

Interesting to see that Syracuse was the last team to be outside the top12, and kind of wild that they didn't even make it into the top25 until mid January. But it's worth noting that they had a borderline NBA HOFer in Melo, and they had a very nice location for the first 4 games... 5 hours from Boston for game 1 and 2, and then 2 hours away from Albany for games 3 and 4. It's pretty wild that the ONE time Albany gets the Sweet16 location, is the one time Syracuse has a legit chance at the title.

Also during that game, there was a sequence in the 2nd half where UK missed several shots and kept getting the rebound. After 3-4, Packer screamed "nobody can get the ball!"

SOMEBODY was getting the ball... it just wasn't his Duke boys.

He was a world-class SOB.
