I think they did. UNC somewhat had a pulse last season and their coach has at least had some success in the past. Hence they were annoited a high ranking because they were the chosen to try and make it seem like Clemson actually has some competition on the other side of the conference. So it only seems that way if you think the ranking was created based upon how good the team was rather than trying to set up narratives to generate interest in what is likely to be another "Clemson and rest" situation in the ACC.Whoever ranked UNC #10 shows you they have no idea what they are doing.
Basically it's based upon last years success. UNC lost a lot of moving parts on their offense. But it's only 1st half.I think they did.
