Indiana's hoops SID is about to get a job offer from Roy Moore. This spin is breathtakingly ambitious.

Can’t tell which team won 90-69 from those notes. Fake news!

They were down 29 late in the game AT HOME vs Indiana State? And we have people complaining with a first-game win after making the NCAA Tournament for the first time ever? Welcome to bizarro basketball.

I thought the Assembly Hall temperature was great too. Kept it right around 70 throughout the entire game. That’s consistency.

Welcome to the Archie Miller Era! Maybe his wife is influencing the SID.

I wouldn't laugh to much at Indiana. Miller is the Anti-Crean and he's recruiting really, really well.

I think Archie Miller will have a lot of success at Indiana. But that doesn’t mean I can’t get great joy out of how bad that weird/cultish Indiana program is right now. Those two aren’t mutually exclusive.

NU must have taken note of this thread.

Here is some spin on tonights debacle:

Northwestern Notes vs. Texas Tech – Nov. 19, 2017
• This was the first meeting between the schools.
Scottie Lindsey notched his third 20-point game of the season and the eighth of his career.
Bryant McIntosh went 3-for-3 from the free throw line in the contest and now has made 17 straight from the charity stripe to open the season.

In the spirit of stripping away the positive spin to reveal the ugly truth...

Scottie Lindsey turning in the third 20 point game of the season means that the entire rest of the team accounted for 29 points. Wow. Just... wow.
