Compared to my first song, this one is more accurate to how I’m actually feeling when I’m in a really hopeful mood.

I think you’re preaching to the choir when you point out your frustrations with how the season is going. The song is from the perspective of an optimistic fan — I don’t always believe the things in the song but I want to. I made a pessimistic song yesterday morning as well. Neither song is really factual — they are both feelings. This one is a feeling that I want to believe — that Mark Pope will fix it. That’s all — you can crank it and see if you enjoy it or not — it’s cool. I love the whole Big Blue Nation either way coz I’m a loser like that.
