My concern is the team may get disheartened with being on the outside looking in during the snapshot in time playoff "update" tonight.

The staff has a tough job trying to get these kids to focus on opponents and tune out the noise.

I see it the other way. I see it making them more determined. I think they'll look at #5 as a bit of disrespect and make them more focused than ever to prove themselves. I hope so anyway.

I'd worry more about them being disappointed and discouraged in a non-playoff bowl game. Now is not the time to give up, they aren't where they want to be yet but there is still time to get there
