with UK walking off victorious and UofL fans beeching and moaning ‘if only…’ That’s one of the ingredients for a meaningful rivalry. Go Cats!

I want them to cruise to a 40pt lead at half time so we can rest our players, regardless of opponent, because I cant take another season derailed by injuries.

Id say close to half of our seasons since 2010 were affected by an injury that had at least SOME affect on our ability to compete for a title.

In that same time frame, id say my Houston Rockets have maybe had 2 seasons like that (CP3 going down was the big one).. just for reference of how abnormal our injuries are.

Not at all.

I actually agree it’s better for us overall if they’re strong as long as they don’t beat us. But let them be strong smacking down Tobacco Road. No reason to have them play us close.

When Patrick Sparks beat Louisville December 18 2004 it was a nailbiter we pulled out at the end 60–58. Was an awesome moment at the very end. I remember exactly where I was at the time, how good it felt to go crazy celebrating, and how proud I was of Sparks. But I don’t remember a single other thing about that whole game.

When Jamal Mashburn and Rhodrick Rhodes eviscerated Louisville by 20 points December 12 1992, that entire game was a thing of beauty. I remember several individual passes and dunks and plays from that awesome game even though it was longer ago than the other one by more than a decade. I remember exactly where I was for that game too, how it felt, how all the people I was with reacted, the expressions on their faces. Sign me up for another smack down like that.

I watched it with one other UK fan and several UL fans. Halftime was pretty gloomy for us. But the end was glorious. I was kind of drunk by then, so it was wooooooohoooooooooooo

if UL loses, there is no world out there in which they do not blame the refs . (worlds where life never started or UL disbanded for being little beotches dont count)

But for Butler's heroics, the Cats would have lost to them last year .. So who is going
to step up? Figures to be a single digit game, regardless of what I want

It will probably turn out to be a close game, but I would love to see the Cats lay a beat down on the Birds with teeth so bad that it causes the city to shut down the Second Street bridge to prevent them all from jumping into the dirty Ohio River.

Not me. I want to beat the dirty birds by a 100 if we could. Never never will i pull for anything Louisville except for a loss.
I'm such a fair weather fan..... I need my head examined.

What did I mean 50 ?!?!? We need to whip them by 100 ! That's what I am talking about ! I stand corrected ! Amen !

Go Big Blue !

I’m wanting to beat them by around 15pts and we never let them get closer than 10pts. And I want to see them look intimidated like UCLA did back in 2015.

I want to see kids crying in the stands at the absolute demoralizing and humiliating beat down they are getting. I want fans leaving at halftime. I want MO D getting UL cheerleaders numbers for the sole reason of running out of other ways to dominate them.

Louisville fans have a propensity to take any loss less than 10 points and turn it into a victory in their eyes. Case in point, last season we beat them 93-85 and since they had a couple of scrubs out, those 2 accounted for the 8 point difference. Bragged their arses off like they actually won the game.

Just praying none of our players get hurt. Game is gonna be dirty and refs will allow it to try to secure their draft king bets. We still beat em by 20 though and send UL fans back to their gangsta paradise apartments.

I’ll take a 1 point win, but I would much rather not have to sweat it out.

The silver lining is the fire has been re-lit in the rivalry. Beat ‘em next year in Rupp. Go Cats!
