Made some great plays and played with some serious emotion. Congratulations on an outstanding game.
Serious question: Why didn't Hoppes play any significant time last year? Did things just "click" this year, in his development as a player, or was he just overlooked after transferring from Wayne State?
thought he would be used more after watching the spring game. Great game last night and Lee's throw to him for the TD was money.
It would was good to see DL get him involved in the game plan and for Lee to actually look for him.
