Looking to open an account at one of these places. Which one is best? Is there much difference in any of them? TVG, Twin Spires, xpress bet, or some other place? Do they charge a fee each time you bet?

They all have their ups and downs, but I'd look for an ADW with a nice rebate on your wagered dollar, but don't go over seas with it. TVG doesn't tax you a quarter on every bet--they stopped several years ago, in fact none if them do anymore--but, they refunded those quarters if you bet over a certain amount during the month. Started with them back in '99, switched to xpressbet about ten years ago, and haven't looked back. It's best to have two accounts really, so I'm looking at Keeneland's as a solid backup. HD all the way around, and lots of coverage.
No opinion on TS because I don't like CDI, but, wager where you're comfortable. I will say that i read TVG crashed on Derby Day for awhile...never missed a beat on xpressbet...fwiw.

All my degen friends are Twin Spires loyalists, so that's what I run with. I started on TVG, and am an unable to tell the difference between any of them, tbh.

Lot of my degen friends appreciate the quick turnaround on payouts from TS, but they also give it right back just as quick..[cheers]
Keeneland Select. Not 100% sure about the other sites' rewards programs but I get back $50 in rewards often from them, based on amounts wagered. Also get free tickets to races/events, entries to contests, etc.
