Dang, been a tough week injury wise for you guys, we came out of our scrimmage with only an ankle/foot injury to one of the frosh. Chubb had 10 carries, tackled to the ground 8 times, had 2 break aways they blew the whistle when he cleared to get more plays in, broke some tackles, no limping, so good for him and us. Probably won't get too many hits rest of fall

Sure we have death and a ton of talent but every player counts. Not saying him missing a game will lead to a loss but it's never good. Some games he has the hot hand and hat is when we need him same as all our players.

He fumbles a lot...he was at best 3rd string...probably 4th now

He may not even be 4th when he gets back if he's hurt very long. Snell could be the big back & Horton can't do what the other three do.

Not really. Horton's fumble prone, Williams and Kemp are yet to make it thru a season without getting dinged. SEC's a minefield.

2 years ago we had Gurley, Marshall, Chubb and Michel as our top 4 backs, with Marshall having a good camp with the Redskins all 4 very likely NFL backs. By the 5th game we only had one of those dressing out.

RB is the one position you need lots of depth because of the amount of pounding those guys take during a season. Its not just games but its also the repeated hits during practices, scrimmages, etc.

Hopefully our offense doesn't lean on the running backs as much as we have in the past two years and we will be able to move the ball through the air.

Horton back at practice today, so that's good to see! He's a much needed bruiser who will come in handy this year
