Hope that loss doesn't reflect poorly on UofL's playoff chances!
SDSU was actually pretty good this year. And, let's not forget Houston lost their coach. Their previous loss to Memphis was a typical and predictable let down game. Louisville was their Super Bowl.
Houston wasn't worth much of a damn before playing us either, but they sure handed us our butts WHILE playing us. That's on us.
Yeah, their coach leaving had nothing to do with it.
Just like losing ours at halftime of a bowl didn't bother us.

Too many distractions for them with Herman all year. Just like when JLS left here, team found out and fell apart.
Don't forget they handled the mighty Sooners of Oklahoma pretty well and handed them their butts too...on a neutral field no less!
Yeah, the Cougs were a real Jekyll-Hyde team this year. I think a lot of it had to Herman's tenuous status as coach.
I think they could've beaten anybody in the country on that fateful Thursday night.Buzzsaws can only be overcome by champions.Obviously,our team wasn't quite in that category.
Wonder how focused our coaching staff was that night. Didn't the first report of the WF plays being found at PJCS come out that day?
