While the fix/lee matchup drew so much fanfare, Gable Steveson taking down wood 8-1 might have been the most unexpected result of the weekend. I'm assuming he will follow his brothers path and go to minny. It will be fun to watch him in the future.

He was dominant in his win over Jordan Wood. Wood could not get close to a takedown and Steveson was in full control all during the match. Announcers indicate he is a freshman which I assume means he will be a Sophomore this year. He is already a man among boys. We can always hope that he does not wish to go the same path as his brother but I think it is a forlorn hope.
