I discovered that Looney Tunes are on HBO Max. I am going to watch Bugs, Porky, Elmer and the rest to take me through the new year.

Enjoying an evening off work early and doing absolutely nothing productive. Never been one to care about the TV specials, ball drop countdown ,etc. Couch potato mode right now, 'this glorious. Rest up and get in a good bike ride or a workout omorrow morning. Weather is calling for 60s but rain so we'll see.
Sitting here with our 7 year old granddaughter and Sam the dog waiting for the ball to drop. Mamaw went to bed about 20 minutes ago. Sam has napped on and off all evening.

We danced around in the living room in the most pathetic display of white dancing you can imagine then an air of melancholy set in as the CNN New Years playlist took hold.

At my parents house. We are doing Christmas a week late
Steak and lobster dinner at home with an ocean of cabernet sauvingnon.
Bourbon, music, U21 Hockey world championships.
A little sleep until our dog awakened me by barking at fireworks going off.

Well to be fair I did enjoy an excellent steak dinner and charades with family and some friends earlier in the night. The girlfriend and I were just not into watching the ball drop or any of that stuff this year.
But, seriously, that new Wonder Woman movie sucks ***. I didn’t make it halfway thru before I passed out at around 12:45. So, really u are right at the moment we went into 2021 I was watching a shite movie. Not very glamorous.
Watched Ford v. Ferrari. Good.
Excellent movie I should’ve watched that as well.
Carroll Shelby seemed about a cool a guy as ever lived. Steve McQueen, Carroll Shelby & Chuck Yeager top 3 coolest cats ever.
NYE is my birthday.. I planned to propose to my GF today at a small party we were planning. She wouldn't have had any idea I was doing it.
But we both got COVID and had to cancel it. So I got Taco Bell for Breakfast, prime rib and scallops for dinner, and for missing my Birthday Beer Boot (something in Upstate NY) my parents came by, made me a birthday boot and we had a few socially distanced drinks on my porch.
Not the best birthday, for sure. But the people in my life made it memorable for certain. Happy new year!

WW1984 is godawful. Not even GG in that white dress could save it.
I am kinda pumped for today tho. Drank minimally last night in preparation. Cooking out on the grill, sitting by the pool, drinking lots of beer, got $100 on Bama & Clemson gonna watch those games and if I’m really lucky I may even get laid— Prolly better odds I pass out on the couch before end of Clemson game.
However it ends that’s pretty much a perfect day for me. Start 2021 off right.

Had a small meat and cheese board set up, and enjoyed a bottle of red wine. Stayed up to watch a movie, switched over to the gawd-awful TV coverage of the ball drop at 11:55, and off to bed by 12:05.
Today will be catching up on some rugby matches that are on my DVR, followed by the traditional sauerkraut and sausage for dinner, and another bottle of red.

I wish. I think I am looking for a new job. I always thought I would enjoy working from home. I hate it. I just can't get up and walk 10 feet to my desk and stare at a computer all day anymore.
At 2:07 we were awakened by some mortar fire that lasted for about 3 minutes. Happened again at 3:13. Bunch of dumbass hillbillies got their stimulus checks and blew it on fireworks. Can't wait to get back to Florida next week.
That's childs play. Some ####### shot of fireworks from 9:30 to 2 for 6 weeks straight last summer.
I went to be about the same as Mamaw. I watched my balls drop years ago.
