How bad is the B1G West

Northwestern currently holds a 2 game lead in the Big Ten west division with an overall record of 5-4.

They are 5-1 in conference, with wins over both teams behind them at 4-2, Wisc and Purdue.

NW plays at Iowa next week before wrapping up the season vs Minnesota and Illinois, both likely wins. If NW loses to Iowa, and wins the other 2, they will be in the B1G Championship Game with a 7-5 record. Wow.
