There is no Cam Smith to drop thy nuts. We don’t have anyone we can say “that’s your guy. I don’t care what the call is, you are on him all night” like we did with Cam. At this point, we just have to hope Cook has an off night I think……or:

Better tackling is key. YAC has to be worst in the league.
We give up easy short passes for huge yardage every game. Knowing everyone watches the film, we have to correct this or continue to lose due to defense, not offense.

That strategy very nearly bit us in the but against A&M last year. We had a 9-point lead with a minute in the game and allowed A&M to at least make it an interesting finish.

Any defense should be able to shut down one guy. Put a corner on him with safety help over the top every play and he will not be a factor. The problem then is; can you count on another player not having a career game against you. Burden can be contained but can the defense stop the rest of Missouri's offense?
