this game is very hard to figure given the interim DEF coordinators and not clear who will be playing significant snaps on defense. not sure how good Ole Miss is - only saw them play in a couple games.

With opt outs and NFL bound players on limited snap counts, the "depth" will be on the field.

I also think it's not just a matter of the PSU defensive performance. If the PSU offense can run the ball, win time of possession and keep the Ole Miss offense off the field, things bode well.

and we had a couple others not play in the second half (i.e. Adissa - and I think that was his plan). We also lost Carter and I think the staff made a mistake playing him on his last series. He could not move and actually hurt the team.

had we played them in October or November I think we win. Ole Miss had a full contingent less one player.
