How much power will boosters have in the new NIL era?

Boosters have of course always had influence on programs, my question is how will that role expand? Will they be dictating or attempting to dictate playing time? Hopefully they are smart enough to stay out of the way and let the players play, and coaches coach. After all the goal is, or should be to win games not get “ your guy” time. I guess we shall see…

With NIL collectives and player contracts dictating money and terms, I don't think individual boosters have quite as much leverage in the NIL era, especially when it comes to the scenario you laid out.

I really hope you’re right. I think it’s detrimental to a teams success when there is pressure to play certain players due to factors not related to on the court performance.

100 percent.

As the season nears, we'll have a lot of Tulsa basketball coverage, which will filter into Hurricane Alley from the front page.
