Have two teams played each other in a bowl game in back to back years? I can understand it in something like the old Rose Bowl or old Sugar Bowl when they used to take conference champions and such, but just in random Pick-em Bowls, when has that happened? What was the thought process for putting us and Iowa in that position without saying, Ehhh, maybe we should switch Missouri and UK so Missouri plays Iowa and UK plays Wake Forest. Seems to be about an even swap.

Only one I can remember (I’m sure it’s happened more recently) is back when OSU got whipped by South Carolina in Tampa back-to-back.

What also makes it unique is it's a different bowl this year. Not the same bowl two years in a row
