I hesitate to ask the question - my mind is already reeling at the potential snark......

Recently dropped Time Warner Cable as email provider. Much joy ensued. How do I "kill" or disable the twc email? I've asked Time Warner, and you would think I asked for the square root of a 7 digit number, converted to German. I know I can just walk away from it - but I'd rather a sender get a bounceback alerting them that the email is no longer viable. I've told as many as I can think of that we've changed, but had that email address for a long time and I know I'm forgetting someone(s).

The thought of someone waiting in anticipation for a response from me that will never come is more than I can bear......

Call, ask for tier 3. It should auto disable in 30 days.

If you still have them for internet (not email), you can go into your account functions and disable it yourself.

Welllllllll, not exactly. I would have assumed a natural part of the process is if you discontinue services, your email would disable. But I left TWC on May 29, and via webmail I watch email continue to roll into my inbox......

No. If you cancelled, you wouldn't have access to see it. It disables.

You have something else set up that's ghosting emails and you think it's your twc account and it isn't. It's like how you said you cancelled your email service. You were paying for Internet service, and were given an email address. Not you were paying for email. It's obvious your lack of understanding here is the issue and not twc.

There is no way you can go to twc.com and log into your account with it being cancelled.

Your twc email is disabled if you cancelled. End of story.

I have more productive conversations with my 5yr old than I have ever had with TWC.
