Is there an NU crowd?More importantly, how SHOULD they react?
The game is sold out, so there will be a lot of Crimson there, but what will NU students and fans do?
Is there an NU crowd?
There were about 16 students at the Rutgers game. It was pathetic and just one game removed from a packed gym for the Illini.Have you been to any games recently? Student section has been terrific on a number of occasions (especially vs. Illinois). I expect the same intensity versus IU. Would be great if you are able to make some noise. Wear some purple that always helps.
Great student turnout for Illini. It was a weekend game. There were about 16 students at the Rutgers game. It was pathetic and just one game removed from a packed gym for the Illini.
We are favored by 1 point and have a 50.6% chance of winning
The students haven't really shown up for any weeknight games. I hope tonight is different. If Kopp gets any playing time, he will be greeted with metaphorical yawns from the NU faithful.
At least it's now a seat, and not a spot on bleacher!I expect to be there cheering away in the upper deck as usual, with a pack of red shirted yahoos sitting behind me, kicking the back of my seat.
I will be a thorn in the IU fans side tooThanks to Uber, I will be at the game with him and PPD. My goal is to make any IU fan with a 20 ft radius want to never return to WR.
Who is buying the beverages?I will be a thorn in the IU fans side too
I have a special clapping ability that makes my hands sound like two metal trash can covers. I can summon this power at will.I will be a thorn in the IU fans side too
Kopp will get plenty of playing time. He starts nearly every game (if not all of them) for them. Hasn’t been great for the Hoosiers, but he’s part of their initial group on the floor. The students haven't really shown up for any weeknight games. I hope tonight is different. Kudos to the 2 of you for fighting the good fight. I live in Indy and, therefore, this is the most important game to get a W for me. Purdue fans, cool, IU fans, not so much.I will be a thorn in the IU fans side too
True, but a very telling thing is that, from very early on in the season, his tushy was seating on the bench in the final minutes of (almost) every game.Kopp will get plenty of playing time. I was in Colorado for the Penn State game, but otherwise I've been to every home game.Have you been to any games recently? In conference play, Kopp exited the game for the last time at:True, but a very telling thing is that, from very early on in the season, his tushy was seating on the bench in the final minutes of (almost) every game.
I like the new digs, but they did price me completely out of the seats on the lower level I'd had since the 90s, and that makes me a bit sad.At least it's now a seat, and not a spot on bleacher!

Yep, it's an interesting rotation Woodson has going there. Not often that you see a starter so consistently not a part of any late game rotation. But you're right, Kopp pretty much is never on the floor late in games.True, but a very telling thing is that, from very early on in the season, his tushy was seating on the bench in the final minutes of (almost) every game.
It would be pretty easy to shrink it or dismantle it completely. Is it too late for them to admit the Wilson Club was dumb and take care of longtime STHs?
Should just move the Wilson Club higher up and behind the baskets? Give those seats to people who want to actually watch the game a cheer. Is it too late for them to admit the Wilson Club was dumb and take care of longtime STHs?
Me too. I hope they're not as bad the Illanoy fans. I think we win!!!I expect to be there cheering away in the upper deck as usual, with a pack of red shirted yahoos sitting behind me, kicking the back of my seat.
Big time Boo. I might not get out of here alive .I voted boo.
I am usually supportive of guys who transfer away from NU, but Kopp was 1) really bad for a long stretch last season 2) moped about it and brought the whole team down with him and 3) took the “easy” way out and transferred to an IN CONFERENCE program where he didn’t have to have the pressure of being “the guy.”
Boo.
Lots of red. Won’t stop my booingBig time Boo. I might not get out of here alive .
The same way we’ve always reacted when we see him play - with indifference?More importantly, how SHOULD they react?
