He was ejected. He took a baby shot with his size 18. It was stupid, but no damage. Should have been ejected. I would have gotten in his face and said is that all you got, a kiddy kick. You are a punk and nothing else. Then I would have stood at scorers table saying get him off the bench. He is ejected. Take his sorry rear end off the bench. No need to retaliate on a 7 footer not willing to fight but do some sort of punk move like that.

Man did we dodge a bullet with that guy.

Yeah, it was clear to me he knew exactly what he was doing. He was looking through legs at the Duke player, then kicked him in the face and pushed off. It was the right call. I can't believe they actually kicked him out of the game, but it was the right call.

And if I'm Hunter Dickinson, I'm changing my attitude quickly at this point. It is clearly to me, his reputation precedes him at this point. He's not gonna get a favorable whistle anymore. Time to get control of the temper tantrums. Whistles are coming. Fouls are coming. Get ready for it. Otherwise, technical fouls and flagrant fouls, and possibly getting kicked out of more games will be coming.

And to think at the time that Dickinson left Michigan that Calipari wanted him here. Thank God we didn't get this guy. Pretty much every player that Calipari recruited here was a top notch, 1st class person. But not Dickinson. Like I said, thank God we didn't get this embarrassment of a human being.

Why toss him when they let Christian Latterner do worse when he without any doubt kicked Timberlake in the head.
Just call them all not just selectively
That was over 30 years ago. And he stomped on Timberlake's chest. Certainly not defending Laettner! But, one was a stomp by an NCAA golden boy, the other was a kick to the face by a known goon. Just saying, it's hard to compare two different foot infractions three decades apart.

After his first basket be runs back in defense making a “I have a big penis” gesture. What an asshat.

I still wish Timberlake had jumped off the floor, tackled Laettner, and started pounding him. Then they would both have been ejected and we win and go to the FF.

I don’t think he does those things here. Not with Cal or CMP. They are both proud that they developed the person.
Kansas is full of thugs and criminals just like Tennessee. When you go there you gotta know what you’re entering into. The culture at those places is win at any cost and it filters down to the players.

One happend over 30 years ago when you had to draw blood in the sport. Not saying that was the right way, btw. Laettner should've been tossed. So should Dickinson. If you make purposeful contact with a player in the face, you should be gone. Uncalled for. And if you try to injure someone (like Laettner did) you should be gone.

Just because Laettner didn't get tossed when he should've, doesn't mean tossing Dickinson was "soft" (which I've seen miserable KU fans say). Sick of people not doing the right thing, and was glad to see the officials (even though they were favoring Kansas- and that was clear with the THREE makeup ticky-tacks after they tossed Dickinson) do the right thing- though they would've been drawn and quartered by half that crowd if they didn't.

And maybe Aminu wouldn’t have been a total shell the next season too. People forget he was on a good trajectory and Laettner effectively ended him

It’s probably the hockey player in me, but I can’t believe no one has taken a swing at him yet.

I hate somebody hasn't. I'm not a man of violence, but sometimes....people need an *** kicking to set them straight (whether that be metaphorical or literal). I think Mike Tyson said it best:

"Social media made y'all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it."

Now I'm a man of faith and science, so I'm not going to overly defend that. BUT, we have societal norms for a reason. Unfortunately, people think they can say or do anything now and be protected. Social media "It's just a prank bro" or saying the most abject ugly things for "shock value" has gotten way out of hand. And it results in turds like Dickinson and Allen.

He’s a complete *******. Idc how good of a player he is. Self, and their fans, will look the other way as they do with all their jerk/criminal players.

That said, all I can say to Dook is karma’s a *****.
He's even better with all his hook and holds he gets away with.

Oh I definitely subscribe to a lot of people needing an *** kicking.

This occurred on Tuesday. He was ejected and punished. He made a mistake and said it wasn’t intentional. FCS move on.

I watched the video two-three times and I did not see it as intentional. I thought it should have been just a technical and not technical and ejection.
What happened many years ago with Laettner was intentional and he was allowed to continue.
When your on the floor/ground rowing around like these two were, your not thinking "I am going to kick him in is face" but just fighting for position.
Too much being made of this one in my view.

He’s a punk for sure, but it was also giving Duke a taste of their own medicine. Duke players have taken cheap shots on other players and teams for 40 years now. Don’t feel the slightest bit of sympathy for them whatsoever.

Winning is a powerul thing. Tons of Kansas fans have to continually gaslight themselves that Self doesn't almost exclusively get thugs and future convicts to go to KU.
