A source tells Fox Sports that Dan Hurley met with his players at UConn this morning and informed them he's been in talks with the Lakers. Hurley didn't want to hide the fact that this was real. The Huskies have a noon practice, and Hurley told his players it's business as usual for now.
If not now, I'm pretty sure practice at least starts this month per a recent interview that Pope did. Can't remember which one.
I think he will take it bc it’s one of the premier franchises in a league he wants to ultimately try his hand at. I do think he was holding out for the Knicks job and would have taken a Nets/Celtics/Philly job. I do this he’s north eastern through and through and if he turns the Lakers down it’s bc he doesn’t want the west coast move and would rather wait for a NE job tk open
Seems like they are doing individual workouts since everyone isn't on campus yet.

That will be a seismic shift in college ball honestly, he’s the dominate force right now. If he’s meeting with players he’s considering it but I wonder what the wife will say. Apparently she is the reason he won’t take another college job.

Where did he say he was coming to UK? He basically said it's fluid and he could go to either UK or UT. Nowhere did he say ''he's going to ___ done deal''.
But the clown assured us and the nation that he LOVES coaching at UCONN and he's "not going anywhere".
Hurley is wierd and a *** he never would have been a good fit here

Yeah, Cali is hell on earth, blue ocean, sandy beaches, Santa Monica Mountains, great restaurants, genetically refined babe-a-thon (from generations of wanna be actors and actresses in the 10 category moving out there) as opposed to first and second cousin gene pool hook ups.
