I’m a little surprised and a tiny bit nervous

That we haven’t landed any commits or at least started to hear a lot more from recruits? Am I alone and worried too much or no? Will Stein, to me, was as close to a perfect hire as we could’ve made so I’m all for Coach Stein! Just thinking here.

High school recruiting is mostly over and the portal doesn't open until next month. Zero reason to be worried.

I don't understand worrying at this point. If we're really struggling to land the players the staff wants at this point next season, that's a good time to begin to be concerned.

I guess worrying is a little much. Also it’s also totally different than when Pope was hired and had like 45 days to retain/assemble a whole class. I think Stein is gonna be great here!!!

I'm not worried. So far, all the potential transfer names I've seen us associated with are studs. That tells me this coaching staff isn't about to just flesh out the roster with any warm bodies they can find. They are selective and want the best players they can get. I like where this is going.

I think everything has fallen pretty normally so far. He’s still helping Oregon and like others have mentioned, the portal is going to be a much bigger asset to him than high school recruiting. Especially in year one.

You can’t say that in 2025

Oh, you said retread… carry on
It is 2025 and you can say a lot of things that you couldn't say during the previous four years. Stand Up comedians are having a field day breaking those politically correct rules. Much like the time period when George Carlin was king of comedy and Archie Bunker turned prime time TV on its head.
