against Halladay and Lee on the road. It flips homefield advantage to the Cardinals for now.

The Cardinals really need to find a way to win the games in St. Louis.

Great job by the bullpen- and by the hitters in general. 5-6 runs will win you a lot of games in MLB.

I was thinking about the Colby Rasmus trade today. A lot of experts were saying that the Cardinals got ripped off. Well, two of the guys that they got out of that deal- Dotel and Rzepenski (screw it, I can't spell it) have really solidified the bullpen and allowed the Cardinals to get to where they are now. And in the meantime Colby Rasmus hit below the Mendoza line for the Blue Jays. Maybe LaRussa had a good reason for not wanting Colby to listen to his Dad about hitting.

Add to that bringing in the old man Arty Rhodes into the bullpen. He made Ryan Howard look silly last night in three pitches. Rzepczynski has good stuff and is projected to be a starter one day. Colby Rasmus was nothing but a headcase with the crazy overbearing coach dad to boot. The guy has all the tools to be a great player but I don't know if he can ever put it all together.

Thebiggest move of the year was signing Berkman. He carried this team when we needed him due to injuries to Pujols, and Holliday.
