Why does Pitino keep building up his former players to be coach at UK? He did it after UK fired Gillespie in pushing for Pelphrey and he is adamant Pope is the man.

Pitino should have been the hire for the short run and pope as assistant paid more than byu to groom for the job. That’s the only way I advocated a pope hire. He does not have connections in the south to recruit to Kentucky.

Their fans are dopes then. They are a irrelevant program and Pitino has them not only competitive but highly ranked . He pretty much did it overnight so rheir fans are pretending they have some type of historical winning record and championships. They are lucky he's there.

He wouldn't be 5-4 here either getting us ran out of the gym everytime we play a ranked team. Not saying we should of brought him back but he would have us in much better shape and there would be effort.
