I have bleed for the university… live in Ohio.. surrounded by negativity… this is the first game I feel numb….. I am not giving one more dollar… taking 1 more minute away from my daughters for this….. I’m so tired

I got attacked at Mizzou… Had my tires slashed in Colorado… Been shoved and smiled back at a bars in Texas…. ya… I didn’t start anything because I am a Husker… what is this?
I've been to UT, A&M, (went to school at TTU and wore Husker gear), and I have never had negative interaction with any fan. Never been to Mizzou or Colorado, fortunately.

I left the game early in the 2nd half. My wife was watching 'My Cousin Vinny' so I watched it with her.
The only time Ohio State football was down was when Luke Fickell was interim head coach. Ohio State is consistently good.
Definitely a better comedy than the one Nebraska Football put on display (one in which they had two weeks to work on)
Got along with OU and ok st. Wisc fans are great… Made plenty of friends where ever I’ve gone… only place Ive got decked for wearing red was Mizzou… but I’m over this… not more donations… I’m not buying tickets… you can call me a problem all you want. My money nd effort are not to this anymore other than a click to check the score.
OSU is a university that understands championship football, compared to the backwoods bushwhackers we have running things.
We are going the way of Iowa and Wisconsin…Irrelevant. Actually Iowa is a never was. Nebraska is a has been and Wisconsin has at least played in and won a couple B1G Championships
I actually went out and started putting Christmas lights on our tree in the front yard.
Everytime I would come back inside I'd ask the wife if Penn St. scored again against our defense who couldn't stop a stocking from running.
The basketball teams seem to be good and the volleyball team might be a generationally great team. Watching those should raise one Husker spirits
Its not about understanding anything. Ohio State isn't smarter or more savvy than anyone. They don't have better coaches and they sure as hell don't prioritize winning more than Nebraska. Its about geography and revenue. Ohio is the only northern state with an abundance of D1 football talent and Ohio State has no in state competition for it. Put it this way...before he has to lift a finger, Ryan Day has already put together a better recruiting class than 13 Big Ten schools. I could go on about it but you get the gist.
I have said this SOOOOO many times.
I have been to so many road games with my friends and never once had anything close to anything "bad" happen to me or said to me.
The only time there was anything at all was at Purdue where the fans jokingly yelled "Booo" when we walked into a bar and then we all drank together and had fun.
Now, I am not a ***** but I also don't look to start anything at all and I also don't look to be offended but it has just never happened to me or my friends.
The problem is your expectations. I’ve been watching Husker football since the 60s. Some of us let our expectations this year get ahead of reality. I didn’t. I EXPECTED PSU to clobber us before the season and after watching several of their games my opinion stayed the same. I had HOPED we could make it close but they just plain have more talent than us. Period. They likely have RBs who didn’t play that are better than EJ. It’s just where we are right now. We had to make some big plays for TDs and limit their RBs and we did neither.
NEXT GAME. EXPECT the worst against Iowa’s run game and HOPE we can make enough big plays on offense to outscore them.
It is incredibly sad to see the state this program is in. The on field product is so far from being a top 20 program that one wonders where to even start. The University and donors have provided every possible thing that a staff would ever need to be able to compete. No amount of spin and coach speak can explain away what we saw last night. What we saw was exactly how far we are away from having a program that can compete with the upper 2/3 of the Big 10. It is a sobering wake up call to be sure.
It’s been that way since the 60’s other than a few years of Bob and 5 years of Tom.
. No guarantees. Used to get my hopes up only to dashed by the one or two teams Tom played with a pulse at the end of the year. We had HUGE advantage over 95% of the teams in college football and that all vanished in the late 90s. We’re just another mediocre team who can only hope to hit the lottery once in a blue moon.So I take it you're not going to Nashville, Vegas or Bangor, Maine for the bowl game? LOL
