Yeah, MSU rarely has 5 on the floor without one offensive liability in there. Goins and Nairn, two starters, barely even look at the basket.
Well, I'm hardly scholar, but when someone says they "can't wait till we don't have to play 4 on 5 offensively at all times"....I imply that to mean you think we're playing 4 on 5 at all times. So common sense....ahh, nevermind....
Is this yet another a cheap shot at Matt Jones? If so, it's getting really old, really fast. If not, I apologize for my confusion.

You're not confused. It is a shot. Matt has played two games where his offense has been abysmal and he hasn't met expectations. It will happen more this season, and when it does you can cue the broken record. This is third season Matt has essentially held the same role....and there's some people who still don't get it. Matt's job is to play defense, stretch defenses and to pick his spot. For a guy playing 40 minutes per game he's been pretty good at what he's called upon to do.

I think maybe a lot of people missed what I thought he was talking about. I thought he was referring to just being excited to get the trio back.
I really didn't think Matt was bad last night. He has moments where he doesn't shoot it well, but I remember many times he has hit big shots over the years. Heck, his sophomore year he hit a huge step back @UNC, and had clutch shots vs. Utah and Gonzaga in the tourney. This alone doesn't make him fantastic, but defenses know he has the ability and guts to take, AND MAKE, big shots. For that reason alone its not 4v5. Its not like Grayson and Luke were lights out the whole game last night. But I agree with the sentiment that it will be better when the other 3 guys are playing.
I can tell you what I did see. MSU might have not had 4-5 scorers on the floor, but they did have 5 guys who were running the floor. They were matching us in scoring up through the halfway through the second half and they were outhustling us.

I am looking forward to when all our guys are healthy. It will be punishing to our opponents as we can have 4-5 guys on the floor through out the game that will be a coring threat.
