Go back, look at the game film. How many of those 20+ completions were check down short throws? How many did he challenge over the top? How many were in the middle of the field? When you break down the game film, even the most average football fan will see those numbers were highly inflated.

Completed 3 passes of 20 plus yards. Longest was 55.
75.5% completion ratio.
1 TD
25 for 33

Looks all good and stuff by the numbers, but his misses were God awful. Second week in a row missing a wide open man in the end zone. Fumbled the ball resulting in a TD for opponent.

Greene may not be any better but at least give him a look.

Doege must have some incriminating evidence against Brown.

What I saw yesterday in Doege was a kid who came out in the second half and played fantastically. Stayed tough in the pocket, showed poise, made the necessary throws, and kept drives alive.

Then, with everything on the line, he missed a wide-open receiver (or two). For the second week in a row, he COMPLETELY missed on a throw virtually any middle school QB could make, for the win. Essentially, game over. It's like he panics when the pressure is on and just mentally folds which causes his mechanics to fail. Called the yips.

Yesterday was Daygay's super bowl because it was TTU, where his brother played and the school he grew up being a fan of. If any game would fire him up, certainly that one would be it, especially since it was also the homecoming game in front of a great crowd.

And he again proved TTU was right to ignore him and not even waste a scholarship on him as a back-up.

NAILED IT. DOEGE WAS OUTSTANDING IN 3RD QUARTER BUT KEPT THROWING TO LEDDIE'S ANKLES, THE SAME GUY ON THE OFFENSIVE LINE GOT CAUGHT HOLDING SEVERAL TIMES. DOEGE IS LIKE SAMMY SNEAD TRYING TO MAKE A PUTT IN HIS HEYDAY. IT'S CALLED THE YIPS.

At Bowling Green Doege's passer rating was 138.7

Under Neal Brown that rating has gone down a bit to 135.7 which shows that Brown lacks the ability to develop a QB as the previous staff could, and also that Doege is declining in ability a bit under Brown.

You can't be this stupid in real life.
