I am a long time UK fan. Ive been a UK football fan since I was 5 and sonny collins ran for UK. So I have seen my fair share of really bad football. I have had season tix 18 years out of the past 25. I have been there for many a 2-9 season that was cold and we were losing to a very bad vandy team in 15 degree weather.. so I get it.

I know the common thought is " we want Bobby gone and the best way to do that is not show up". If you hurt their pockets they will make a change. That is probably true. However I want you to think about the athlete that is busting his tail and is not responsible for your rough season to start. As you get older you start maybe having a little wisdom about things. I have many friends who have given up on Card sports.. all the junk that has been going on . I get it, as a cat fan I have seen my share also of some scandals . Petrino did not forget how to coach. Does he have a good staff? Is the fact that 70% of your team is freshman and sophomores a huge factor? Is having three D coordinators in three years a big factor? Did the BAMA game rock the confidence of many very young players? Did pulling Pass early shake his confidence? I think some or all of the above are true. I am just saying from a guy who has friends that were at Card games in Cardinal stadium when Murray St was beating you guys 56-10 and you were losing to EKU. Look at how far you have come as a program in a very short time! From Independent to CUSA to the Big East and now to one of the most prestigious leagues in the country the ACC. You have alot to be proud of.. so go out there support your Boys win or lose. You may have a new coach next year. Regardless you have a young team and there is alot of talent on that roster.... again you all can blast away at me but I am trying to provide some thoughts that this year may be bad , but the future is bright..

During joker "the joke" Phillips last season, 2012 SuCkS home football attendance was ;

48,000 Kent st
54,000 WKU
50,000 Scar
50,000 Miss st
55,000 GA
45,000 Vandy
47,000 Samford.

I believe 65,000 was capacity back then.
OP Fail.

How is that a fail ? He didn’t say UK didn’t do it lol those are announced numbers, that Vandy game had maybe 15k if that... I believe that all worked In favor of getting rid of Joker but it does suck for the players... You have to think the players would rather have a new coach and win also though.

Oh yea I’d boycott the hell out of the games. It sucks but that’s about the only way for fans to make sure their voice is heard.

Just what we need a pep talk from SuCk fan. Geez why SuCk fans think they have to visit other boards and give their opinion. Don’t understand what in their brain makes them think anyone cares. Their arrogance is beyond belief.

People need to realize that fans are NOT boycotting games. The product sucks and they have better things to do. I have attended all of the home games, but have only made it past half time twice. I have better things to do then watch that crap.

Fans don't need to boycott games because there will be a change at the end of the season, so its not necessary. And we don't need any input from cat fans. Their attendance sucked the first two games THIS YEAR. Too funny.

Theyre embolden by their first winning conference record since 1977.

FORTY ONE YEARS !
Thats highly pathetic representation by an SEC founding member.

GA will give them a huge dose of reality so they can finally move on to overrated, underperforming basketball.

I just get tired of the idea that Louisville has bad fans or that you're a bad fan if you don't attend every game.

E-V-E-R-Y- school has seen attendance go down. Go look at Miami's crowds, heck even look at Alabama's crowd when they played like Troy or somebody this year. Look at UKs crowds for 85% of the last decade. Fans don't want to watch bad football.

IMO boycotting the games is the one tool Joe Fan has to say “fix it, unacceptable”. It’s the common man’s way of having his voice heard. You have your big buck’s boosters and you have the rest of us. I have no problem with people staying home. If they show up nothing gets done, no pain - no gain. Gotta make it hurt!

I will always attend the game regardless, however the way I voice my displeasure is to leave early. I stay until the bitter end if the team is playing hard and competitive, however when I see the lack of effort put forth that i have seen the last two games, I leave at the 4th quarter if my stomach can take it that long. Supports the team yet shows disgust with the performance.

There’s a difference between down attendance and only 50% of the fans at the game, which is not far off of where we are. And I don’t care to compare us the SuCk. But Miami, Pittsburgh, and GT are probably more like our fan base because all three are located in cities where fans have other options. We normally only have 6 or 7 games, which for me isn’t that tough to make. And I’m one of those fans that just love FB so I attend ran or shine; good or bad.

To give them the benefit of the doubt, the topic is living with crappy college football. They have a lot of experience with that; one might even say they are experts at it.

Like we need a lecture from a fan of one of the worst all time football programs in college football. Just keep believing John Ray, just keep believing.

Those were tickets sold. I was at all of those games.

The Vandy game, lol, the attendance was so bad I was able to actually count the people in the upper deck. Maybe 18,000 for that game.

I was at that game too, with the family. I’m quite sure your adding one too many zeroes...more like 1800.

Miami, Pitt, and GT compete with NFL franchises. We compete with the St James art fair.
