Sadly, it appears that way. You can't teach height and those added inches seemed to make a difference in his starts at the end of the year.

I liked his hair before but in my experience with young people, a style change like that can be an indicator of a new beginning or change in attitude. Not saying he ever had a bad attitude but fresh starts at that age can be powerful. I really like Benson but I don't know, he may have the potential to amp it up. He may look in the mirror and see a new man who has left his young style behind. This could be a good sign.

Totally agree. Now that he left his hair behind, he will push Pardon for the starting center position. I project him as All Big Ten next season.
seriously though, what are those things that he and turner (a couple of pics later) are wearing? they look very . . . supportive?
i will have to look back at social media but i think i have seen football players wearing them in pictures too. i will try to get some info.
