I, for one, am happy to have a "bad loser"...

as our baseball coach now. As long as it doesn't lead to bad sportsmanship, that's the exact kind of coach I want. I really got tired over the years of feeling like when we lost that it bothered me more than it bothered our HC and I'm just an alumnus and fan that doesn't even get to make very many games in person. I'm not saying you have to kick and scream, but dang, show a little irritation or something when you get beat. At least give us more than "that's baseball". No, I'm happy to finally have a "bad loser" as a coach because those are the exact kind of coaches that won't put up with a program not living up to its potential which has been the very definition of our baseball program for quite some time now.

We never capitalized on anything and built on it. We were just happy to get lucky every now and then. In baseball, LT was like, "OK we were good but now that other teams are getting good we can't do it anymore." Thanks.

that with him, losing was acceptable. And when losing becomes acceptable, then you don't try as hard to win and consequently don't win as often as you should. I'm very happy to have a coach who does not accept losing.

overloaded his jaybird ***...so crawfishing was the order of the day. Let's see how Cohen's "I'm always a winner, the players are screwing it up" ego reacts going forward, praise for this is not in my deck of cards but I'm willing to call it progress and will wait and see! </p>

Success is going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.

Polk and Croom weren't enthusiastic when it came to the game. Cohen's enthusiasm only goes up after a loss.

I hate to lose, so I understand where Cohen is coming from. He's the coach that I wanted here at MSU and exactly what I think we need.

I'm just glad the he realized that he may have said too much.

You can be passionate and hate to lose without saying things that make you look bad.
