I hate dilemma's, but I'm in one..........

I just found out my wife is bringing five grandchildren home for an overnight stay tonight. I live in a small house, no where to hide. I guess I'll hit my local sports bar and they are having a special event tomorrow, so it will be packed. My choice, noise from the rug rats or noise from the non-fans from the bar.

Well, no offense intended, and only for a good night sleep for an 11:00 game tomorrow. I'd hit the closest 4 star hotel to me.
But I'm weak and selfish.:eek:

True story, back in the good old days, parents would give their kids kiddie doses of Paregoric, (tincture of opium).
It was widely used for kids with colic...merely so their sleep deprived parents could get some sleep.

Do what my Dad did to any kids in the house on game day: He would take us all to the front yard, and he'd tell us that in the front yard, he had earlier hidden 8 quarters and whatever we found, we could keep and spend on all the candy the money would buy...at halftime, assuming we had found anything, he'd take us to the backyard and tell us the same thing...

Course, taking inflation into account, it might cost you a little more than $2 in quarters now...
