Sorry I tried to post a photo but could not get it right. Anyway I volunteered to drive my truck and haul my trailer for a group of Seniors that were going on an antiquing trip on County Transportation. One of the ladies brought this towel to wrap up any glassware that she bought.

I asked if I could take a photo of it and she said that I could have it. Will be getting it framed soon. This is one of two towel designs released by Canon recognizing the undefeated, untied and unscored upon 1938 Duke Blue Devils.

Must be some pretty decent material to have lasted that long. Is it actually from 1938?

Very nice find. Too bad it has a couple of tears, but framing it is a great idea.

BluePhil thanks for posting this as I looked the team and players up and got educated about the 38 and 39 teams. Did she happen to say who she got the towel from? Was it her husband on someone in her family? I didn't know who Eric Tipton and Dan Hill were so I looked them up and learned they were All Americans and were part of the "Iron Dukes". Ain't learning wonderful !

Her husband attended Duke earlier than that and she is not sure where he got the towel but they got it new.
